The Shinbukan Kendo Club is a member of the British Kendo Association
The Association is the governing body for the three martial arts of Kendo, Iaido and Jodo within the United Kingdom. It is also a founder member of the International Kendo Federation and the European Kendo Federation and all the grades issued are recognized internationally. The club is run by JOHN HOWELL 7th Dan, Kyoshi and a Senior Coach 0f the British Kendo Association

We always welcome beginners and have all the necessary equipment to help you get started.
We are extremly lucky to have Sensei Howell who has many years experience both practicing and teaching Kendo.
